History
I would like to introduce some of the activities of the Minami Alps Mountain Bike Lovers Club .
2022
January We created our YouTube channel.
February We received a letter of appreciation again this year from the Chief of the Southern Alps Police.
May: Received the 5th "Bicycle Utilization Promotion Merit Award (Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award)"
2023
Published in “Cycle Hack” in January (https://cyclehack.jp/808)
April Specialized and our association held “Soil Searching in Yamanashi”
Ichikawa Misato Town and our association conclude a “Regional Revitalization Comprehensive Partnership Agreement”
April: Cooperated in the formulation of the “Second Yamanashi Prefecture Bicycle Utilization Promotion Plan”
April Kofu City "Shosenkyo MTB Park" opened, ropeway utilization, course creation, operation consulting work
May: Participated in the “Blue Sky General Meeting” hosted by the Bicycle Utilization Promotion Federation.
September: Signed “Comprehensive Regional Revitalization Partnership Agreement” with Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, created MTB field using forest
October: Featured on the website "ENJOY SPORTS BICYCLE" provided by the Japan Bicycle Association. "Mountain bikes are needed in Japan's mountains right now."
October: Kamikawa Town's MTB and forest initiatives were featured on NHK Hokkaido's "Local Friends News"

November: Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and our association held the "MTB Cycle Adventure Festival in Ichikawa Misato"
December: Exhibiting at "Ashiyasu WINTER BASH 2023" in the Southern Alps
December: "Shosenkyo National Designation Scenic Spot 100th Anniversary Commemorative MTB Ride Day" was held. Mayor Higuchi of Kofu, Chairman Ashizawa of the Shosenkyo Tourism Association, and officials from Kofu city attended and endorsed the new way of using mountain trails with MTBs.
2024
February: Our organization was featured on the website of the National Mountain Day Council, a general incorporated foundation of which we are a member.

March: Exhibit at the Yamanashi Prefecture-sponsored hydrogen event "Yamanashi Mirai Energy Fest 2024"
March: Exhibit at the Yamanashi Prefecture-sponsored SDGs event "YAMANASHI SDGs FORUM 2024"
March: We received a letter of appreciation from the chief of the Minami-Alps Police Station. March: We repaired the course at Yamanashi Prefecture Forest Park "Kanagawa no Mori" and held a mountain bike class.
March: With the cooperation of local wineries "Domaine Hide" and "Flare Food Factory," wine and juice are made from grapes grown on abandoned farmland that has been reclaimed since 2017. We attached labels with our association's logo printed on specialty washi paper given to us by Mayor Endo of Ichikawamisato Town, with whom we have a comprehensive agreement.
April: Ichikawamisato Town Mayor Endo, town hall staff, residents, Yamaha Motor, and our association members, totaling more than 30 people, participated in a cleanup activity at Ichikawamisato Town's "Ichikawa Park"
April: Our representative, Tokuma, gave a presentation as an expert at the Mountain Trail Law Study Group.
May: Our representative, Tokuma, gave a presentation as an expert at the 26th General Meeting (study session) of the All-Party Mountain Day Parliamentary League.
May: Conducted a demonstration experiment of the cycle train "Rapid Minokuru" on JR Central's Minobu Line and jointly held the "Minoruche" market and "Mountain Bike Event" sponsored by the Ichikawamisato Town Hall.
June: Featured on NHK's "Kaidoki"
July: Mountain bike classes held at Yamanashi Prefecture Forest Park "Kanagawa no Mori"
July: A total of 40 people participated in a MTB experience and field visit for members of the cross-party "Bicycle Use Promotion Parliamentary League" and officials from related ministries and agencies, as well as an exchange of opinions on the MTB social environment. (Attending members and ministries and agencies: Mr. Yasuyuki Kaneko, Mr. Kaname Tajima, Mr. Takeshi Iwaya, Mr. Kiyoshi Ejima, Mr. Shunsuke Mutai, Mr. Shinichi Nakatani, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Ministry of the Environment, Forestry Agency, Japan Tourism Agency, etc.)
8月 公益財団法人「全国山の日協議会」ホームページにて当会代表弭間野記事を掲載頂きました。
